While participating in a Bible study, Quilt designer, Carol Honderich, found a way to meld two passions: her love for God and her love of quilting. The result; a quilt inspired by 52 women of the Bible. Traditional blocks are used to associate with each woman based on her name, circumstances, or personality. Each block is unique, and like the women they represent, these blocks suggest you consider them individually.
The lovely grapevine border is appliqué. Some of the 6” blocks are appliqué and some are pieced. You can hand or machine stitch all of the parts. This quilt truly is a journey, which will allow you the opportunity to learn and grow.
The finished quilt size is 60" x 102". During this 13-month program, you will receive the complete pattern and fabrics needed to make the quilt top including sashing, borders and binding. There is a $25 non-refundable start-up fee, then only $24.95 per month plus shipping and handling for each kit.
